Hello!

I am a young development sector professional based in Lahore, Pakistan. I have been involved in the textile industry of Pakistan for the past 4 years. Prior to which I completed my undergraduate degree in International Relations and Development from the University of Sussex, UK.

 

The purpose of Stitching Consciousness is to build a community that caters to all three pillars of sustainability i.e. Ecological, Social and Economic. The podcast is a platform for exploring the causes of climate change, sustainability in textiles along with the current production and consumption practices and finding innovative alternative methods through dialogue and exploration.

Another branch of this brand is the upcycling business. We take textile scraps from producers that would otherwise end up as waste and transform them into value-added items that give the material a longer life and would also adorn your homes.
